Prayer Retreat

 Our focus during this one-day retreat is calling to mind the Persons of the Trinity with a particular truth about God. We are turning our eyes to who He is and what He is like and offering up praise and worship to Him for what He reveals of Himself to us.   Every year God shows up and opens our eyes to a deeper understanding of who He is.  

We will be developing and honing the ability to listen to the direction of the Holy Spirit. We look to each member of the group to bring scripture, song, a prayer of repentance, lament or worship as He leads. 

As a group of fellow sojourners, we will walk together through various types and forms of prayers, ranging from meditation on a particular scripture, praise, petition and individual time with God.  We will come together to eat and share our experiences of our time and our reflections of our Creator God.  Each year, the theme and scripture passage focus changes, but our steadfast seeking of the face of Jesus remains.

The prayer retreat is for everyone who loves Jesus and wants to participate in fellowship and prayer with other believers.

While many of the prayer summits across Tucson focus on those in church leadership, this prayer retreat is for anyone and everyone.
