Soul Shepherding

Soul Care Shepherding is an opportunity to sit down one-on-one with a trained provider from JCM.  

Your soul care provider will maintain confidence and safety within the relationship as you walk through your story and what you have learned both about yourself and about God through your unique story and circumstances.  Through this one-on-one time, you and your soul care provider can step into the struggles you are currently facing, seek to see where your story in intersecting with your circumstances, and discern what God may be inviting you into.

Your soul care provider is not a licensed counselor and therefore will not provide solutions, diagnoses, therapy or prescriptions, rather they will help you to seek out the Holy Spirit and listen to His guidance as you wrestle through your daily life circumstances.  

A waiver is required for individual soul-care shepherding, and costs vary from provider to provider.   If money is an issue, please ask about a scholarship.   

Individual Soul Care Shepherding is for any person able to process through his/her story and desiring to take a real, deep look inside themselves.  Participants must also have an active relationship with Jesus as well as a willingness to listen to the direction the Holy Spirit.  Because the soul care provider is helping you to discern the Holy Spirit, significant time with God is essential between appointments.

Soul Care Shepherding is not licensed counseling nor is it therapy.  Soul Care Shepherding will not replace a doctor's care for physiological issues.  Your soul care provider may recommend seeing other professionals for issues outside the scope of soul care.

Shari Willett and Gary Smith are both certified by JCM to provide Soul Shepherding through JCM.  

David Gainey is the pastor at The Oasis Church in Tucson.  He received training and certification through JCM and is currently providing Soul Shepherding through his church.

Danny and Rebekah Russin are also available for Soul Care Shepherding and have both completed training with JCM under John and Patti Cepin.
